EEI Announces Preferred Homestay Partnership with HFDI

English Education Ireland is pleased to announce a new corporate partnership with Homestay Family Dublin Ireland (HFDI), who join EEI as our preferred homestay accommodation provider.

With homestay remaining the most popular accommodation choice for international students in Ireland — accounting for 45% of all beds across the EEI network — having a trusted, specialist provider is a practical benefit for member schools and the students they welcome each year.

HFDI brings extensive experience in student and short-term accommodation, managing the complete homestay process including host recruitment, inspections, placements, and ongoing quality assurance. Their host families are located across Ireland, with strong coverage in Dublin, Cork, Galway, and surrounding areas, accommodating students, interns, teachers, and group leaders with flexible meal and stay arrangements.

CEO of English Education Ireland, Lorcan O’Connor Lloyd, said: “We’re delighted to formalise this partnership with HFDI. Accommodation is one of the most important factors in a student’s experience of Ireland, and having a dedicated, quality-assured homestay partner is a real practical support for our member schools. HFDI’s professionalism and their commitment to both guest wellbeing and host quality aligns closely with EEI’s own values.”

Member schools wishing to discuss homestay placements through HFDI can contact them directly here or reach out to the EEI office.
